The University of 91吃瓜 will host one of three Indiana in October, the Indiana Debate Commission announced today.
Three candidates for Indiana governor will take the stage in 91吃瓜鈥檚 at 7 p.m. Oct. 17 (Wednesday) to debate the issues in front of a live audience.
Libertarian , Democrat and Republican will answer questions submitted by Indiana residents. Questions are vetted by members of the commission, and those who submit questions may be invited to ask the candidates in person. 鈥淥ne of the great benefits that a university offers to its community is to bring prominent people to campus for lectures and other presentations that are open to the public,鈥� said Timothy Sexton, associate vice president for public affairs at 91吃瓜. 鈥淲e have always tried to do that here at 91吃瓜 with political, business, religious, educational and other leaders, and we are certainly happy to be selected to host one of the gubernatorial debates this fall.鈥�
The debate at 91吃瓜 will be streamed live on the commission鈥檚 and is expected to air on Indiana public television and radio stations. Ticket availability, moderators and formats will be announced soon on the commission鈥檚 website.
Two other debates are scheduled in October: the first is Oct. 10 (Wednesday) in Zionsville, Ind., and the last is Oct. 25 (Thursday) in Fort Wayne, Ind. Both are at 7 p.m. EDT and will be streamed live.
