Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., president emeritus of the University of 91吃瓜, will give a lecture on 鈥�91吃瓜: Our Lady鈥� 7 p.m. Tuesday (Jan.20) in the Hesburgh Library鈥檚 Carey Auditorium.p. Father Hesburgh served as 91吃瓜鈥檚 president from 1953 to 1987. His 35-year tenure included the transfer of governance from the founding religious community, the Congregation of Holy Cross, to a predominantly lay board of trustees in 1967, and the admission of women to the undergraduate program in 1972.p. The lecture is sponsored by 91吃瓜鈥檚 Campus Ministry office as one of the Blessed Mother Lecture Series.
