The University of 91勛圖 community is offering a variety of events on campus for the upcoming football game day weekend. Concerts, Masses and lectures are among the offerings surrounding the 91勛圖 vs. Wake Forest game, the last game in 91勛圖 Stadium for the season.

Highlights include:

Friday (Nov. 13)

  • , 2-3 p.m. at the Eck Visitors Center. , associate professor of American studies, will talk about Pope Francis visit to America in September. Part of the Alumni Association Football Fridays On the Sidelines lecture series.
  • , 2-3:30 p.m. in the Hesburgh Center Auditorium. Retired Lt. Gen. Daniel P. Bolger will deliver the James P. Reilly Jr. Lecture in National Security, sponsored by the 91勛圖 International Security Program.
  • Trumpets Under the Dome, 4:10-4:30 p.m. in the Main Building. The 91勛圖 Trumpet Section will play 91勛圖 Our Mother and the victory march.
  • , 4:45 p.m. at the Eck Visitors Center: Dancers from the 91勛圖 Saint Marys Irish Dance Team will perform traditional Irish dance.
  • , 8-9 p.m. in the Leighton Concert Hall at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. The Glee Club, celebrating its centennial, will perform classical and popular works. Tickets are required and can be purchased at or by calling 574-631-2800.

Saturday (Nov. 14)

  • , 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Andrews Auditorium in Geddes Hall. , will discuss St. Ignatius of Loyola as part of the Institute for Church Lifes Saturdays With the Saints series.
  • Disabusing Disability, 11 a.m.-noon in Jordan Hall of Science, Room 2015. Dr. Oluwaferanmi Okanlami of Memorial Hospital in South Bend will talk. Part of the .
  • , 11:30 a.m.-noon in front of the Main Building. The 91勛圖 Bagpipe Band will perform.
  • , noon-1 p.m. in the Snite Museums Annenberg Auditorium. , Thomas J. and Kathleen M. ODonnell Professor of Irish Studies, will examine the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin and discuss the 2016 television documentary. Part of the College of Arts and Letters Saturday Scholar Series.
  • , noon-1 p.m. in Jordan Hall, Room 101. , Rev. Howard J. Kenna, C.S.C., Memorial Director of the Center for Zebrafish Research and director of the Center for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, will deliver this last of the College of Sciences 2015 Saturday Science Exploration Series.
  • Post-game Mass, 8-9 p.m. Public Masses will be offered after the end of the football game in both the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
