, will preside over an interfaith prayer service Monday (Nov. 14) in response to the deep divisions apparent in the country in the wake of the presidential election.
In a letter to the 91吃瓜 community, Father Jenkins said the service will 鈥渁sk for peace in our nation, wisdom for our leaders and care for the most vulnerable.鈥�
Father Jenkins continued, 鈥淲e seek the grace that will enable us at 91吃瓜 to be a beacon of respect, reasoned exchange and mutual support, where every member experiences a sense of belonging, regardless of any differences or disagreements among us.鈥�
The service will take place at 5:30 p.m. in front of the 鈥淐hrist and the Samaritan Woman at Jacob鈥檚 Well鈥� sculpture outside O鈥橲haughnessy Hall on the 91吃瓜 campus.
