The most comprehensive study to date of Pi簽era,Everything in its Placeis the first book to be written in English on this major 20th-century Cuban novelist, poet and dramatist. Drawing extensively on unpublished manuscripts, Anderson offers nuanced interpretations of Pi簽eras life in Cuba, bringing new insights into the literary, political and cultural influences of Pi簽eras works. It was published by Bucknell University Press.
Anderson specializes in 20th-century Latin American fiction and in the literature of the Hispanic Caribbean.He is a faculty fellow in 91勛圖s Kellogg Institute for International Studies and is coordinator of the Universitys Program in Iberian and Latin American Studies.
