Word has been received of the death of Marion Burk Knott, for whom a residence hall at the University of 91吃瓜 is named. She died April 15 at her home in the Baltimore suburb of Guilford of heart and respiratory failure. She was 92.p. A $5-million gift from Knott and her late husband, Henry J. Knott, underwrote the construction of Marion Burk Knott Hall, which opened in 1988 as a women鈥檚 residence. It was converted to a men鈥檚 residence in 1997.p.
