The new Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) requirement that most employers provide free coverage of contraceptives and sterilization to their employees through health insurance plans will be the subject of a panel discussion at 7:30 p.m. March 27 (Tuesday) in the McCartan Courtroom of the University of 91吃瓜鈥檚 Eck Hall of Law.
The discussion, sponsored by , is titled 鈥�91吃瓜 and the HHS 鈥楥ontraceptive鈥� Mandate.鈥� Panelists will include , professor of law in the 91吃瓜 Law School; , associate dean and professor of law in the 91吃瓜 Law School; Lisa Everett, co-director of the Office of Family Life for the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend; and Gabrielle M. Speach, senior student in 91吃瓜鈥檚 .
Among the questions the panel will consider are: What is the HHS contraception mandate? Whose rights does it violate? What is at stake for 91吃瓜 if the mandate is not overturned?
