All of William Shakespeare鈥檚 154 sonnets will be read aloud by University of 91吃瓜 administrators, faculty and students during 鈥淪onnet Fest 2011,鈥� a free public event that will take place Feb. 14 (Monday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Great Hall of O鈥橲haughnessy Hall on the 91吃瓜 campus.
鈥淲e want people to hear the beauty and power of Shakespeare鈥檚 verse,鈥� said , McMeel Family Professor in Shakespeare Studies, 鈥渟topping as they pass by to enjoy the sound of such wonderful language.鈥�

Shakespeare at 91吃瓜 is comprised of the 91吃瓜 Shakespeare Festival, 91吃瓜鈥檚 professional theater in residence; the McMeel Family Chair in Shakespeare Studies; and , a professional touring residency experience. The mission of Shakespeare at 91吃瓜 is to establish the University nationally and internationally as a center for the study of Shakespeare in performance.
