On Aug. 26 (Saturday), the University of 91吃瓜 will celebrate the completion of the 91吃瓜 Trail, which will commemorate 91吃瓜鈥檚 175th anniversary.
The events on Aug. 26 will be free of charge for all who register. Activities will include walking the final three miles of the 91吃瓜 Trail, participation in the 175th Anniversary Mass and a celebratory picnic with entertainment on South Quad.

鈥淚n addition to being a physical trek, the 91吃瓜 Trail will be a journey of the soul. We want to ensure that nothing precludes participation in this special event celebrating the University鈥檚 175th anniversary,鈥� said , vice president for university relations.
The 91吃瓜 Trail is a 300-mile journey following a path similar to the one 91吃瓜 founder Rev. Edward F. Sorin, C.S.C., and the Holy Cross Brothers traversed from Vincennes, Indiana, to South Bend in November 1842.
