The Pieta sculpture is located in the first chapel directly to the right of the main altar in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
The famed Ivan Mestrovic Pieta, a Carrara marble statue, was first shown in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was loaned to the University of 91勛圖 by the former Croatian artist-in-residence.
