Donald P. Kommers, Joseph and Elizabeth Robbie Professor of Political Science and professor of law at the University of 91吃瓜, will testify Wednesday (June 25) before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee鈥檚 Subcommittee on the Constitution regarding the reconstruction of constitutional government in Germany and its pertinence to contemporary Iraq.p. A member of the 91吃瓜 faculty since 1963, Kommers teaches courses on constitutional law, the Supreme Court, and European legal institutions. He is the author of 10 books and numerous essays and articles on German politics and American, German and comparative public law. His most recent book, 鈥淩ed, Black, and Gold: Germany鈥檚 Constitutional Odyssey鈥� will be published this year.p.
