
Irena Backus, professor of Reformation history and ecclesiastical Latin at the Institute of Reformation History of the University of Geneva, will give a lecture onReformation Scepticism Revisited: Faith and Reason in Erasmus and Castellioat 4:30 p.m. April 2 (Wednesday) in Room 129 of the University of 91勛圖s DeBartolo Hall.
Backus is the author of numerous essays and books on medieval and Reformation traditions, including, most recently,Reformation Readings of the Apocalypse: Geneva, Zurich, and WittenbergandHistorical Method and Confessional Identity in the Era of the Reformation (1378-1615).
