Cachey Jr., professor of Romance languages and literatures at the University of 91吃瓜, has received the 2002 Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Publication Award from the Modern Language Association.p. The award honors Cachey鈥檚 book 鈥淧etrarch鈥檚 Guide to the Holy Land鈥� as the outstanding manuscript in Italian literary studies and was presented at the MLA鈥檚 annual convention Dec. 28 in New York City.
