The following is a statement from 91吃瓜鈥檚 president, Rev. Edward A. Malloy, C.S.C., regarding today鈥檚 Supreme Court rulings on the role of race in university and college admissions policy.
鈥淲e at 91吃瓜 are gratified by the Supreme Court鈥檚 reaffirmation of long standing practices here and elsewhere that consider race as one of several factors in the admission of students. We believe strongly in the benefit that a diverse student body brings to us all, and we are committed to continuing our efforts in achieving that goal.鈥�
